Benson's Canine Cookies in Lakeland, FL

Love getting their homemade treats for my puppy! He runs to his crate whenever we open the jar for them, he loves them so much!

This place is great! They carry the most amazing brands that you don’t find at the other stores. They also have a fantastic bakery and the staff is great too!

We love Bensons. We arrived just before Helene hit and then slapped with Milton. Our baby girl came down with pancreatitis. So we had to have specialty foods. Since then, there hasn't been a time my girl had to go without. They rarely have one brand in, but I discovered another brand as well. They put an order in and had it immediately. I was/am always amazed with them and how quickly they jump right on whatever they can order. The staff are simply amazing. If you aren't a veteran to this place, you will be. They make cookies and treats for the bakery section, which our girl loves. Especially the chicken liver slices. We always get her raw goats milk here by Answers, which has been amazing for her. There's another store that refuses to carry this brand due to their politics. So it makes it super nice that Bensons has it on the shelf. Our girl loves it and it's so healthy for her. I can't say thank you enough to these ladies and the caring and generous attitudes they all have. It's always a pleasure whether I'm calling an order in or picking an order up. They carry a variety of supplements and vitamins as well as clothes, bags, car seats, leashes, harnesses, and, of course, toys. It isn't a HUGEA place, but they pack a punch and without the insane prices. I recommend them to everyone around town.

My grandpup Manny turned 16 and deserves special treats. So we make Benson's our go to place. They always have that special something.

*** updating review. Need more than five stars for exceptional places like Benson's. Their store made treats aren't only good, they are life preserving in the case of one of my dogs. They are a member of my Bandit's Lifesavers Club as a result. When he would eat nothing else as a result of a nasty persistent gastrointestinal infection he has, he ate Benson's. Particularly the bacon and cheese muffins. Just getting good calories in kept him out of the hospital. They will be forever by his side. Great selection of goodies for your pet, not to mention the cookies themselves which are fantastic!
